Burglary Suspect Caught On Second Try, Police Say
FRIENDSWOOD — A man accused of twice eluding police was arrested Wednesday on burglary and assault charges, authorities said.
Bond for Lukas Bogan, 22, was set at $51,500 on a felony charge of burglary and misdemeanor charges of assault and evading police, Friendswood police said.
Police at 1:30 a.m. went to a residence on Falling Leaf Court, where the suspect fled. Bogan was accused of returning to the residence, that of his girlfriend’s, at 9:27 a.m. He was arrested shortly thereafter, police said.

Police: Man Shot Won’t Press Charges
GALVESTON — A man shot in the foot told police he wouldn’t file charges, even if a suspect was caught, authorities said Wednesday.
Police were called at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday to the 3700 block of Winnie, where a man told officers he was minding his own business and heard gunshots. The victim drove himself to the hospital, Galveston police said.
Witnesses told police they saw two men shooting at each another, and they fled in burgundy and gray cars. Police reported no arrests.

Woman Faces Robbery Charge
TEXAS CITY — Police have a female suspect in custody awaiting possible charges in the strong-arm robbery of a woman robbed Wednesday of her purse and $15, authorities said.
A woman, 28, reported she was robbed at 12:49 a.m. in a parking lot in the 900 block of Eighth Street North, Texas City police said. The woman was knocked to the ground and struck, but she didn’t need medical treatment, police said.
Police were seeking charges against a woman, who was identified by a witness, police said.
